Application and working environment of Belt conveyor
The Belt conveyor can be widely applied in the field of mining, metallurgy, coal and other departments .And the Belt conveyor can be used to transmit some loosely materials or final products .And according to the requirements of the transmitting crafts, the Belt conveyor can proceed the transmitting by single machine or the horizontal or leaning transmitting system composed by multi-belt conveyors and other transmitting equipment .So the Belt conveyor can satisfy the various requirements of the production line in various layouts form. And the Belt conveyor cab be used in the temperature range of -20℃-40℃,with the transmitting temperature of below 50℃.
Main components of Belt conveyor
The Belt conveyor mainly consist of the frame ,transmitting belt pulley, tension device ,transmitting equipment .And the Belt conveyor is connected by the quality steel plate and the on-off ratio of legs from both of the back and forth have formed the frame .And the surface have appeared certain angle inclination. And there also have some belt roller and carrier roller installed on the frame, which can be used to drive or support the belt transmitting .And there have two kinds of drive ways: reducer electric motor and roller types.
Spreader processing of Belt conveyor
The spreader of the belt conveyor is a common problem with many aspects of reasons .But the key point is still to strengthen the daily maintenance.
Spreader in the transfer point: The spreader in the transfer point is mainly in the loading hopper and feed channel. If the belt conveyor have occurred the serious loading, the feed channel retention rubber skirt will be damaged. And then the steel plate of belt conveyor in the feed channel is far away than the belt and the rubber skirting board is longer so that the materials can dash out the feed channel .And the above situation can also be applied to control the transmitting capability and be resolved by strengthening the maintenance.
Spreader of swing sinking belt: when the curvature radius of the sinking belt is smaller, the belt will be swung and then the belt sinking situation will become changed .And as the belt have left the trough idlers, the groove angle will become smaller and then some materials will be scattered out .Therefore, the designer will adopt the sinking curvature radius as large as possible to avoid this situation to happen in the designing process. And we can find this in the portable mechanical shipping machine, stacker and reclaimer equipment, which will shorten the rear car and design this sinking part to the transition region with no circular arc. And when the width of the belt is a little longer, the materials will be easily spreaded.
The spreader in the belt side skid: the reason why the belt has gone the side skid is that there has happened two fringe height changing during the belt’s function with one side high and the other low. And the materials will be spread out from the lower side and we can adjust the belt skid to overcome it.
