Application of Vertical roller mill
This kind of vertical mill have found their extensive application in the field of fertilizer, mining, building materials, chemical industry, metallurgy, thermal power, nonmetal, abrasive, brick, ceramic, steel, coal, etc .And the vertical mill can also be used to crush the block materials into the coarse powder( fine powder, the mixture of fine and medium sand ),such as cement (raw clinker), quartz, feldspar, calcite, gypsum, limestone, coal gangue, slag, talc, granite, feldspar, marble, barite, ceramics, glass ,etc. And these are all high, medium, and low hardness materials with the Mohs hardness of below 9.5%.
Working principle of Vertical roller mill
During the operation of the Vertical Mill, the reducer installed on the top of the main units will rotate with the central axis connected with the couplings .And then the central axis will drive the grinding roller cradle to rotate and the grinding roller installed on the cradle will roll around the inner surface of the grinding ring .And the materials will enter the feeding hopper from the side top of the machine and then be divided into two parts. And then the materials will scatter around the distributing plate which rotate with the central axis and then will be evenly entered the space between the grinding ring and roller along with the circle tunnel. And at last, the materials will be grinded and crushed by the roller and then be discharged by the outlet.
Structure features of Vertical roller mill
Main structures of LM series Vertical Mill are including the classifier , roller ,plate, pressure ,reducer, motor, shell equipment and so on.
The separator is a kind of high-efficient and energy-saving equipment .And the roller is a kind of spare parts used to grind and crush the material. And the pressure equipment is a kind of spare parts providing the pressure for the grinding rolle, thus crushing the materials .The plate is installed on the output axis of the reducer, which is the place the materials is crushed by the roller.
